Frantz's Biography
I was born in St. Michel de l’Attalaye, Haiti! Raised and educated in Gonaives, one of the major cities located in the Central Plain of Artibonite.
I started drawing at the young age of five. I captured my first glimpse of colors passionately watching my dad using various mirages of colors on his canvases. At that moment, I discovered my real purpose in life. I still carry that passion for art.
At the age of nine, I joined St. Charles’ Church choir. Sitting inside the cathedral, I had been move by the contemporary design and colors of the bay windows, which incited me to portray the beauty of the daily life activities through various artistic styles, to create and reach the soul of this cultural and spiritual manifestation.
I love what I do with my art. I was born with the shapes, colors and tone keys that represent the essence of creativity. I share everything with art: my emotions, my sufferings and my hopes. God has infiltrated in me the creative force that celebrates my unique view of existence.
My mission is to enhance on a canvas everything that I feel at the bottom of my soul. Whatever the medium applied, the result is a breathtaking harmony of colors. My goal is to contribute to its progress.
I left my country and settled in New York to study Architecture, which to me is another form of creativity.

Art is an entity that transforms the soul. It stipulates a sentiment of joy, plenitude, perfection, beauty and represents a world vision where humanity exalted by shapes and colors. My passion for art is a high slope torrent that spreads into my veins at elevated potency. It transcends love and sensibility. My Philosophy about Art: It could not be only the charm of the museum, but the pillar under the rooftop of all human kind where it holds its purity and eternity.
Art is the first finding of humanity. It plays a fundamental role in daily, social, economic and religious life. I create forms by harmonizing rich colors, as William Alexander said: "I am a creator, I am next to God! Each stroke is guided by the Almighty" or Henry Jenkins, with its cowboy hat and long bear whispering and singing around the easel. The latter would take all the spectators toward his universe to a different plane. Bob Ross, with his parrot resting on his shoulder, on the other hand, reveals all his tricks and knowledge about color pigmentation. A group of artistic masters who genially made their presence on this earth relevant to beauty such as Michelangelo, Raphael, Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh and many other artists, traveled through their time machine and paved a credo of unbelievable creativities.I gladly invite you to visit my website Dupiton Fine Art to enjoy a glimpse of my inspirations through a fusion of colors that separates humanity from today harsh realities. Various styles been posted for your enjoyment and pleasure. They are a reflection of my artistic inspirations based on childhood memories of traditions, culture and the beauty that surrounds us on this planetFrantz Dupiton/ Artist
